This was one of those where I felt like I was channelling a different personality when singing. The drums are over-programmed on this, which makes people notice them. Original track was around 16 bars longer, but I made a clean and imperceptible edit to bring the length down. Backwards guitar rounds it off. I was never happy with the timing of the first line of the vocal, and developed the singing yips when trying to get it right. In the end I had to leave it as close-but-no-cigar.
